Based in Mauritius, Newone by C offers you a High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) facial – non-invasive treatment for facial aging. This procedure is part of a growing trend for anti-aging treatments that offer some of the benefits of a facelift without requiring surgery.

A HIFU facial treatment uses ultrasound to create heat deep in the skin. This heat destroys the targeted skin cells, causing the body to try to repair them. To do this, the body produces collagen to promote cell regrowth. Collagen is a substance present in the skin which gives it its structure and elasticity.

Increased collagen production results in firmer, more resilient skin with fewer wrinkles. Because the high-frequency ultrasound beams are focused on a specific tissue site below the skin's surface, the upper layers of the skin and adjacent issues are not damaged.

Procedure:

Here's what you should expect during your appointment:

  • Our beautician first cleans the target area.
  • A topical numbing cream is then applied before starting.
  • Next comes the application of an ultrasound gel.
  • The HIFU device is placed against the skin.
  • Using an ultrasound viewer, we adjust the device to the correct setting.
  • Ultrasound energy is then delivered to the target area in short pulses for approximately 30 to 90 minutes.
  • The device is removed.

As simple as that!

Benefits :

HIFU has many aesthetic benefits, including:

  • no incision, no scar and no rest or recovery time needed
  • neck skin tightening
  • reduce the appearance of jowls
  • lift cheeks, drooping eyelids and eyebrows
  • smooth facial wrinkles
  • smooth and tighten the skin of the chest
    improve jawline definition

Taboo:

HIFU is not suitable for everyone. In general, the procedure works best in people over 30 with mild to moderate skin laxity.

People with photodamaged or very loose skin may need several treatments before seeing results.

Older people with more significant photoaging, severe skin laxity, or very loose skin in the neck area are not good candidates and may need surgery.

HIFU is not recommended for people with infections and open skin lesions in the target area, severe or cystic acne, and metal implants in the treatment area.
