Botox is one of the most popular cosmetic treatments that does not require surgery. In fact, it is almost unrivaled as a treatment for fine lines, furrows and wrinkles. The results are visible soon after treatment and last a long time. Ready to try it in Mauritius?

How it works?

If a client is a good candidate for treatment, our specialist doctor gives an injection into the muscles. The needle is so fine that most clients don't even need anesthesia. The number of injections the client receives depends on the size and extent of the affected area. Different wrinkles may require a different number of injections and the typical session usually lasts no more than 20 minutes.

Note that Botox differs from other wrinkle reduction treatments because it is not a dermal filler. This is an FDA-approved treatment that is injected directly under the muscle. Thus, the muscle underneath is temporarily paralyzed. The affected area begins to relax and flatten and can stay that way for up to four months.

Benefits :

Botox is the most widely used and known for its incredible anti-aging effect on wrinkles. It takes years off your face, which is the first thing people see when they meet you. With a few Botox injections, you can temporarily combat mother nature's effect on the aging process and feel even more attractive. It is an economical and non-invasive alternative to surgery. Botox is typically used to target these cosmetic concerns:

  • Moderate to severe forehead wrinkles
  • Crow's feet
  • Frown lines
  • Lips
  • Chin
  • Neck
  • General wrinkles

How long do the results last?

For areas treated with Botox, you should see results in at least 10 to 14 days. Wrinkles do not disappear but are relaxed to diminish their appearance. Deeper wrinkles will become less visible while finer wrinkles will go completely unnoticed. Over time, your muscle activity will return to normal and the Botox will begin to wear off. The effect of Botox lasts 3 to 6 months, the average being 4 months.

Disadvantages ?
